Carrier offload is handled using the Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) protocol, a standardized WiFi technology supported by major telecom providers. Here's how security is ensured:

1. Certificate-based authentication: Mobile devices connect using encrypted credentials issued by their mobile carrier, not passwords.
2. Encrypted connections: All traffic between the device and the hotspot is protected with enterprise encryption, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
3. No access to your internal network: The Dewilynk hotspot broadcasts a separate, isolated SSID used strictly for carrier offload. Your business network remains untouched and fully secure.

Smart client onboarding: Devices connect automatically when in range, with no user interaction, using carrier-issued certificates.

This means your venue offers seamless connectivity to mobile users without ever sharing your WiFi password or exposing internal systems.
